Yoga

Yoga is a discipline that consist of physical stretches, guided relaxation, meditations and breath work in order connect our mind, body and heart. It is an ancient Indian practice and it’s translation means “to join”.

The benefits of yoga are many, for example feeling more settled, grounded and connected to our body and breath as well as establishing more contentment, presence and awareness. 

As yoga has the physical aspect of working with the body it also strengthens the body and increases our flexibility and works on our posture and balance. Everybody is invited and will be supported to find a posture or modification that feels good for them. 

There is no need to be flexible. The classes are for you and your wellbeing. My aim is to support you as best as I can, where you are and to offer you a safe and supportive variety of themes and techniques in the class. 

The yoga class will include:

warm ups

asanas (physical postures)

meditation

pranayama (breathing exercises)

yoga nidra (guided relaxation)

 

The classes around between 1h and 1.5h

I am offering classes for Himalaya Yoga Valley, Youghal Cancer Center and the local area for example in Youghal and Clashmore.  I am also going to private homes for example to offer chair yoga sessions.
